One-to-one lifecoaching
I work with clients from home during the day in EC1. It is possible for me to see clients in the evening on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Baker St Area. After the intial contact, we would generally arrange an introductory meeting. During this we would have the opportuniity to look at the issues and any changes you want to work on. The agenda is yours to determine.
If we mutually decide we would like to work together then I would ask you to commit to four weekly coaching sessions (although this is flexible). The introductory session costs £40; following sessions are £50 each.
As well as working as a coach, I am currently training to be a counsellor, following the person-centred model developed by Carl Rogers.
Life coaching differs markedly from counselling and therapy. The person-centred model is based on three "Core Conditions": congruence, empathy and unconditional positive regard. Lifecoachig is about the "Here and Now" and looks forward; it is helpful to understand the past but accept that it cannot be changed.
The counsellor/client relationship in some models can be one of "expert"/client with the counsellor/therapist as an external authority. I place high value on the experience of the individual and their ability to know what is best for themselves. Sometimes we just need help redefining those goals, looking at what we really want, and making sense of it all.
I know there are times in my own life when I have lost that balance and sparkle. If you would like me to help you regain yours and make decisions with confidence then please do get in touch.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you."
